Golf caps went down a storm this year with our golf society. Mine inspired me to the best golf I have played in years – gross 263 over three championship courses, 47 over par, net 7 under!  I won the champion golfer of the week award – sounds very Grand, it’s nothing more than a bit of fun really!  Portmadog in Wales was a new course to me – superb! Do play it if you’re ever up in North Wales. The greens were some of the best I have ever seen, and the links part of the course was stunning.
